Scenic Eclipse II arrives in Miami
Bon Voyage Travel BVT
We were recently invited to tour Scenic’s newest expedition ship, The Scenic Eclipse II.
The Scenic Eclipse II is a 228-passenger* ultra-luxury discovery yacht that launched in April 2023. It is the sister ship to the Scenic Eclipse, and together they are built to visit the most exotic locations in ultra-luxury.
The yacht is designed to take guests to some of the most remote and exotic destinations on the planet, including Antarctica, the Arctic, the Amazon, and Australia’s Kimberley Coast. It is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation and safety features, as well as a fleet of Zodiac landing crafts, a submersible and two helicopters for shore excursions.
The spacious suites come with butler service and are furnished with the finest toiletries, Egyptian cotton linen and all the amenities you would expect from a 6-star hotel. All suites are equipped with king-size beds, ultra-luxury amenities, and stunning views of the surrounding seascape.
On a culinary note, there are a variety of dining experiences for its guests, from casual to fine dining. There are nine restaurants on board, each with its own unique cuisine and atmosphere. To top it all off, Scenic Epicure is designed to immerse you in gastronomy with masterclasses by the Scenic Chefs.
Scenic Eclipse II arrived in Miami under the leadership of Captain Erwan le Rouzic who together with the crew of the sister ship (Scenic Eclipse) starred on the Discovery Plus show Maritime Masters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZz_o7VbSWw
We were given a tour of this fabulous vessel and then watched her sail out of the Port of Miami to a water salute with one of the Scenic helicopters following the ship and later landed on deck when she was out of sea.
*Scenic caps the guest count to 200 to enhance the crew to guest ratio.
