The attention to detail and impeccable service is what defines yachting. You will feel like you’re on your own private cruise as you experience the Caribbean in laid back, luxurious style.

One of our most taleted advisors Susan Entringer had the opportunity to sail to the tranquil waters of the Caribbean while being pampered with this unique yachting experience.

With a maximum of 112 guests on any given sailing, SeaDream Yacht Club boasts a 1:1 crew to guest ratio - one of the most service-oriented cruise lines in the world. This service-first philosophy allows them to focus on your individual needs making every voyage unforgettable. Establishing this intimate setting, you will feel like you’re on your own private yacht. As SeaDream likes to say, “It’s yachting, not cruising.”

What did you enjoy most about the cruise experience? Was this a River or Ocean cruise?

This ocean sailing was very relaxed with fabulous on board services and dining.

Tell us about the ports/cities you visited with this itinerary.

British Virgin Islands – beautiful beaches, gorgeous aquamarine waters and friendly locals. Activities were limited to water sports, hiking, boating, snorkeling, and with minimal shopping or cultural experiences.

What shore excursions did you go on?

While I didn’t go on any excursions, I wouldn’t suggest too many anyway. I would suggest any related to the beach or water activities - it’s what the area is known for.

Did you do any pre- or post-cruise activities?

We spent one night at the Sheraton Old San Juan, pre-cruise. I would note that the hotel is located at the cruise terminal / port so we walked to the ship, and with luggage. It was so convenient.

What are your top 3 pieces of advice for someone going on a similar trip?

  1. Be prepared to relax, with limited activities offered on board the ship.
  2. Enjoy the attention and outstanding service provided on board.
  3. Don’t expect a typical cruise ship environment - as it’s only a 100 passenger yacht.

What did you like most about SeaDream Yacht Club?

The attention given to each guest, with a smile and eagerness to please. The response to everything is “pleasure.” The entire staff wants guests to fully relax and enjoy their vacation and have a wonderful experience.

What are 3 things one can expect from this cruise line?

  1. Unmatched customer service and attention to detail.
  2. Wonderful dining, with a surprisingly varied and fresh with many options for all lifestyles.
  3. The fare includes all drinks, gratuities and watersports (i.e. jetskiing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc.)

Did you do any shopping or specialty dining on board the ship?

We shopped in St. Bart’s with the traditional tourist and boutique style shops. No specialty dining venues offered on board the ship.
