Romantic Danube River on AmaWaterways

What were your favorite destinations? Why?

I really enjoyed Passau, Vienna and Budapest because of the people, the charm of the the towns and the beautiful cathedrals.

Did you go on any special shore excursions or side-trips?

Excursions are all included with river cruises. Some offered a more in depth feel, but the choice was yours to choose what best suited you.

What are your top three pieces of advice for someone going on a similar trip?

1. Travel with smaller euros (restrooms are at a cost in public areas).
2. Travel with friends. It always enhances the experience.
3. Travel with an extra bag for all the great little gifts you want to bring back!

Have you been to this destination before, or would you want to go back again? Why?

I have never gone to this area previously and I would love to go back!
