Get Lost in Bermuda with Royal Caribbean
Vicki Keune
While Bermuda is known for its famous "Triangle" one of our advisors discovered there is so much more this infamous island has to offer. She took a cruise recently and loved everything on and off ship. Vicki not only experienced the beaches and shopping that Bermuda has to offer, but got there aboard the, always fun, activities around every corner, exciting Royal Caribbean ship, Anthem of the Seas.
What did you enjoy most about the cruise experience?
The ship (Anthem of the Seas) was wonderful itself. Bermuda was great!
Tell us about the ports/cities you visited with this itinerary.
We visited King’s Wharf and found it to be so diverse. We went to a glass blowing shop and had a Dark and Stormy at a very friendly and colorful outdoor bar.
What shore excursions did you go on? Which ones would you recommend?
We took a boat ride to Hamilton. This gave us the opportunity to see more of the island. There were spectacular houses, great beaches and beautiful, old buildings.
What are your top 3 pieces of advice for someone going on a similar trip?
- Make reservations for activities in advance (sky diving is the most popular).
- Ask your Travel Advisor about your dining options so that you can enjoy all that’s available.
- I highly recommend a balcony room.
What did you like most about the cruise line?
I enjoyed the size of the ship and the many options to choose from offered on board.
Did you do any shopping or specialty dining on board the ship?
The Chops Grille (a delicious steakhouse on board) was very good. I also did a little shopping for amber and bought several Christmas gifts!
