In between white, sandy beaches, shady lagoons and pineapple plantations, you will find a Polynesian paradise; aka Tahiti. Julie not only got to experience this tranquil beauty, she was able to get there in quite the same fashion. Paul Gauguin allows you the opportunity to explore these magical islands while being pampered and catered to along the way.
What did you enjoy most about the cruise experience?
I really enjoyed the ambiance of the ship, the over-all level of service, the gourmet food and, of course, one of the most exotic destinations in the world.
Tell us about the ports/cities you visited with this itinerary.
We started in Papette then moved onto Bora Bora (the prettiest of the Tahitian islands, in my opinion), Moorea, Taha’a and Raiatea.
What shore excursions would you recommend?
I would recommend snorkeling, swimming with the sting rays and taking an island tour of each of the islands.
Did you do any pre or post activities?
We arrived two nights early and stayed 2 nights after the cruise at one of my favorite hotels, Intercontinental Resort Tahiti.
