There isn't an extra mile that Janna wouldn't walk to fulfill vacation dreams. It's part of her upbringing. Her father owned a travel agency and her mom worked in the business as well. The Tucson native has worked in retail travel for 28 years, 25 of which have been with Bon Voyage Travel. She is a member of the International Airlines Travel Agent Network and a 5-time member of Bon Voyage Travel's Summit Club, earning recognition for outstanding sales and customer service. Two experiences vividly illustrate Janna's philosophy that"you can never do enough for the client." She quickly planned a three-week trip incorporating a dying woman's favorite places, including France, Thailand and Sydney. Then, she rearranged the itinerary when the client was too sick to leave. The woman did take that trip. "It was nice to be part of her last wish," Janna says. Another time, she went to the post office with a woman who was too nervous to go by herself to get her passport picture taken for a China trip. Janna's travel tip. Don't visit Livorno, Italy on Mondays. The museums are closed then, as are many sights. Avoiding potential disappointment"is why a good travel agent is invaluable," Janna says.
